The International Direct Investment Program is a dividend reinvestment and direct purchase plan sponsored and administered by Citibank, N.A. The Program enables existing holders and first-time purchasers the opportunity to make purchases, reinvest dividends, deposit certificates for safekeeping and sell shares. Highlights of the Plan
- Shareholders of record can open an account at any time.
- New investors can open an account by making a minimum initial investment by check (minimum $250) or by automatic account deductions (minimum $50 for at least 5 consecutive months) to purchase American Depositary Shares (ADSs).
- Participants can make frequent investments to purchase additional ADSs (minimum investment of $50) by check or automatic deduction from a designated US bank account.
- Participants can elect to have automatic deductions either on the 1st or 15th day of each month, or both.
- Participants can reinvest dividends in full or in part, or receive cash dividend payments electronically or by check.
- Participants can deposit certificates for safekeeping through the Program.
- Participants can instruct all or a portion of their account holdings to be sold or withdrawn.
- There are modest service charges and brokerage commissions for transactions.
